Palamós port forecasts a good cruise season for 2013 with 36 visits by cruise ships, bringing 31,500 passengers

Palamós port forecasts a positive cruise season for 2013 with 36 visits by cruise ships, bringing approximately 31,500 passengers. The number of cruise ship visits to Palamós port is set to increase by 38%, equalling the figure for the 2011 season, the busiest enjoyed by the port to date. 11 European and American cruise ships will be visiting the port for the first time.

Costa Brava launches a new brand for promoting Roses and Palamos ports in the international cruise travel market

Seatrade Med, the most important cruise travel fair in the Mediterranean, held this year in Marseilles from 27th to 29th November, was the chosen venue for the official presentation of "Costa Brava Cruise Ports", a new commercial brand created with the goal of identifying, bringing together and promoting the cruise activity in Roses and Palamós ports in the international cruise travel market as well as boosting the local economy.
