The port of Palamós expects 30 cruise ship visits and 38,000 passengers during 2012

The port of Palamós has launched its 2012 cruise season during which it is expecting 30 cruise ship visits and 38,000 passengers. This year is marked by the arrival of the company Crystal Cruises and it will be the first time that Palamós has been a port of call for the cruise ships Seabourn Sojourn, Crystal Serenity, Balmoral, Black Watch and MSC Lirica.

Bay of Roses, on Costa Brava

The towns of Roses, Castelló d’Empúries, Sant Pere Pescador and l’Escala are officially presented as one of "the most beautiful bays in the world". On 14th September, the towns located within the Bay of Roses (Roses, Castelló d’Empúries, Sant Pere Pescador and l’Escala) were granted the official title that accredits their admittance into the club of "the most beautiful bays in the world", designated by UNESCO, a club made up of just 37 bays from all over the world.
