    Operating throughout 24 hours.

    Compulsory when vessel’s length is more than 150 metres.

    20 tones BP. Barcelona’s tugs may also be hired if the vessel’s size makes it necessary.

    Stevedores & Cargo handling

    Provisions Ship’s stores and provisions may be delivered to vessel via the quay by trucks.

    Waste handling. (Marpol Waste). Garbage may be landed to garbage truck.

    Fresh water. Available via pipeline. Max quantity 500 t.p.h. over 5 hours.

    Bunkering.Can be supplied via truck only.

    Security ISPS Compliance. Security personnel on-shore is provided by the port authority. Passengers and crew are required to carry identification with them if they leave the ship. Handbags will be on X-rays if required by the company.

    Passengers Terminal: The new Palamós harbour station is a 182-m2 building comprising a  police control and surveillance office, security systems, passenger waiting rooms, tourist office and other areas.

    Shuttle bus: A shuttle bus service taking cruise ship passengers to and from the town centre operates non-stop from 9am to 2pm.
