The port of Roses and its Bay has all the attributes needed fully to serve our cruise lines and passengers who arrive by sea.

    Berthing and Unberthing is 24 hours

    Compulsory from 500GT, operating throughout 24 hours.

    Tugboats

    Operating throughout 24 hours.

    Compulsory when vessel’s length is more than 150 metres.

    20 tones BP. Barcelona’s tugs may also be hired if the vessel’s size makes it necessary.

    Stevedores & Cargo handling

    Provisions Ship’s stores and provisions may be delivered to vessel via the quay by trucks.

    Waste handling. (Marpol Waste). Garbage may be landed to garbage truck.

    Fresh water. Available via pipeline. Max quantity 500 t.p.h. over 5 hours.

    Bunkering.Can be supplied via truck only.

    Security Measure. Security personnel on-shore is provided by the port authority. Passengers and crew are required to carry identification with them if they leave the ship.
